Group Work & Collaborations
Setting up Groups in Canvas
Click on People > "+ Group Set" to get started. You can create a different group set for each project in your course.
Canvas can automatically create groups for you within the group set, or you can create them manually.
Once groups are set up, students will receive a notification that they have been added to a group. Each group receives their own collaboration space inside of Canvas with dedicated storage space.
On the Groups page, the instructor may observe each group's reserved space.

Collaborations
The Collaborations link in the left hand menu allows your class to collaborate together on a document using Office 365. Students have the ability to do this within their groups as well.
